Research Centre

Centre for Research and Innovation in AI क्रिया / KRIYA

KRIYA is the department’s flagship research infrastructure. It hosts dedicated compute nodes, collaborative project spaces, and acts as a hub for industry and government partnerships. KRIYA enables both fundamental research with long timelines and applied projects with near-term societal impact.

Compute Resources

GPU Clusters

High-performance GPU nodes for deep learning training and inference at scale. Access managed via SLURM scheduler.

HPC Access

Integration with IIT Hyderabad's central HPC facility for large-scale parallel computing workloads.

Cloud Credits

Google Cloud and AWS research credits available to faculty and PhD students for cloud-native experiments.

Research Labs

Machine Learning LabCore research in statistical learning, deep learning, and optimization.
Computer Vision LabResearch on image understanding, video analysis, and 3D reconstruction.

Students and faculty have access to IIT Hyderabad’s central library with subscriptions to major AI/ML journals (IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier), conference proceedings archives, and online learning platforms for professional development.
